What should you Expect at your prom appointment?
When you arrive....
You will see Prom dresses in the window - you will feel like you belong before you even step through the door.
Your appointment will be 60 minutes. We will introduce you to your stylist when you arrive and then give you some time to look around and choose some dresses.
You are allowed to touch the dresses - how else will you know if you like it? We don't wrap our dresses in plastic bags and make them feel out of reach. We do have clear shoulder covers on our dresses to protect them but you can still see all the detail.
Please always feel you can share your budget with us - if we know, we will be mindful of this in our recommendations.
The exciting part - trying on your Prom Dresses....
You can try as many dresses as you like during your appointment. Your stylist will be there to help and advise.
If you know what styles you like, great! If you don't have a clue, that's fine too because we have lots of time and lots of dresses - you might think you'll suit a straight dress and end up with a ball gown - coming in with an open mind can result in the best decisions!
What should you wear?
If you have some heels you are more than welcome to bring them to give you an idea of how your dress will look.
Most of our dresses have spaghetti straps or no straps.
Most dresses don't go over your head, but we do ask that you wear minimal make up just in case and please avoid applying tan before your appointment.
Your jewellery can be kept safe in individual jewellery boxes during your appointment but ideally leave at home as you can forget to collect it in the excitement!
When you've found your dress....
If you are taking your dress away on the day, full payment is required - we prefer card payments.
If you are ordering your dress, we will require a 50% non refundable deposit when you place the order. The balance is due on collection.
Payment plans can be discussed on an individual basis. We are more than happy for you to chip away at your balance in whatever way works for you.
When your dress arrives in store, we will contact you to arrange a fitting appointment. This will take 15 minutes and we do require you to attend and try on the dress rather than sending someone to collect on your behalf. Your prom dress will come in a branded pink complimentary gown bag and as the material we use is breathable it can be kept safely in this until the big day!
